Juve: Allegri takes a tough line on Dybala

Juventus star Paulo Dybala is set to be benched against Bologna today, reports in Italy claim. The Argentinean striker was snubbed from the Old Lady’s starting XI against Inter last week and Max Allegri is set to bench him again against Bologna today.

The Italian tactician announced Dybala’s benching yesterday when he claimed that the player is still not fit and that he will become an important player for Juventus again. “I’ve already benched players like Pogba, Vidal and Pirlo”, Allegri told assembled media yesterday.

As today’s edition of La Stampa points out, Allegri is taking a tough line on the Argentinean striker who has never been benched for two successive game for a technical decision.

Allegri is using the same method he adopted with Gonzalo Higuain earlier this season. El Pipita was struggling to deliver good performances earlier this season and Allegri had benched him for two successive games (against Torino and Olympiakos). The Italian tactician hopes the same solution will be good to solve Dybala’s woes.
