Juve eye Liverpool bargain

Juventus want to get midfielder reinforcement in January and despite Marotta’s denial, Tuttosport insists the Old Lady will make an attempt to sign Emre Can in the January transfer window.

The Germany and Liverpool star will see his contract expire in 2018 and Juventus want to sign him on the cheap in the winter transfer window. Can will be free to join any other club at the end of the season if he fails to pen a new deal by January. Juventus, however, are eyeing a January bargain as they hope Liverpool will eventually opt to rack up some cash rather than see their star leave for free.

Tuttosport confirms the Old Lady will make an attempt to sign the Liverpool and Germany star in the summer. Can could ask to leave the club six months before the end of his contract as the Reds are already out of the Premier League title race.

Jurgen Klopp may allow Can to leave if he manages to sign Naby Keita from RB Leipzig. The Guinean star will join Liverpool at the end of the season but the Reds could anticipate his arrival paying an extra fee in January.
