Juventus 0 - 0 Barcelona: First half tops & flop

It is all square after the first 45 minutes at the Allianz Stadium where Juventus host Primera Division leaders FC Barcelona in a match that has not had too many goal scoring opportunities but the ones created have belonged to Juventus.

The Catalan giants only need one point to secure qualification to the knock-out stages of the Champions League and with a big away fixture this Sunday away to Valencia they are hardly pressing to win at all costs tonight.

TOPS

Paulo Dybala: It was described as the battle of the Argentinian 10's but with Messi being rested on the bench Dybala has done what he can to showcase his talents. Always dangerous when ball at his feet causing Barcelona all sorts of problems.

Ivan Rakitic: The Croatian playmaker has been the focal point of anything creative for Barcelona tonight. His set pieces are as always phenomenal and almost gave the Blaugrana the lead when he hit the post.

Alex Sandro: Together with Dybala he has been responsible for anything and everything creative coming down that left flank. Starting to look like the player he was last season.

FLOP

Paulinho: His pathetic attempt at diving when trying to win a penalty for Barcelona was the highlight of his half, for which he was correctly booked for as well.
