Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri rejects Chelsea interest

Juventus will face  Roma at home on Sunday evening, trying to stretch their win streak to 11 games in Serie A. The three points would also allow Massimiliano Allegri’s side to put an end to the Giallorossi’s title hopes.

The Italian manager held a traditional press conference ahead of the game and here’s a round-up of the most interesting answers given by Allegri.

“ Roma are still in race to win the league. Their squad is great and they’ll have to show some kind of reaction after having changed their manager.”

“We have done nothing thus far. We can still win or lose everything. I hope it’ll be a great match tomorrow, both inside and outside the pitch.”

Allegri’s deal at the Stadium runs until 2017 and Chelsea have been recently rumored to be interested in appointing the former Milan gaffer as their manager next season.

“My contract here expires in 2017 and I have to repeat myself saying that I feel great here. I am happy, so there is no reason to carry on talking about it.”

“I don’t fear that our rivals will buy new players in January. We already have great players. Roberto Pereyra will be like a new signing, Barzagli is back to training and Caceres will not leave.”
