Juventus face injury nightmare as two more players ruled out

The likes of Mattia De Sciglio, Benedikt Howedes, Marko Pjaca and Claudio Marchisio are already out of action but Juventus’ injury nightmare knows no end as the Old Lady has just announced that two more players have picked up injuries and won’t be eligible to play the next game against Udinese.

Both Medhi Benatia and Stefano Sturaro, in fact, are reported to have picked up an injury and won’t be eligible to play this week-end when the bianconeri travels to Udine to face the Zebrette at the Dacia Arena.

The club have just released a medical update regarding their injured footballers: “This morning’s training saw Claudio Marchisio train apart from the rest of the squad whilst both Stefano Sturaro and Medhi Benatia were absent due to injuries. Marko Pjaca and Mattia De Sciglio worked with the rest of the team and Benedikt Howedes trained apart.”
Max Allegri is now short of options at the back as Stephan Lichtsteiner is the only player available on the right whilst Daniele Rugani, Giorgio Chiellini and Andrea Barzagli are the only centre-backs at Allegri’s disposal.
