Juventus keen on Alexis Sanchez as Arsenal contract talks stall

Juventus are still keen on Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez and rumours coming from England are giving the Serie A giants hope as the Chile International is said not to be open to sign a new contract with the Gunners.

Sanchez’s current deal with the Emirates hierarchy is set to expire in 2018 and contract extension negotiations between the two parties have leaded nowhere so far.

According to the Daily Mirror, Wenger has ‘growing concerns over the future of Sanchez’ as contract talks have begun a few months ago but the player and the club have yet to reach an agreement. With just 18 months left in Sanchez’s Arsenal contract, Wenger is reportedly considering Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus as a potential replacement for the former Barcelona star.

Sanchez, on the other hand, is a transfer target of both Juventus and Manchester City. Guardiola and Allegri could consider making a big money offer to Arsenal in the summer in case Sanchez fails to sign a new deal with the club by the end of the season.
