Juventus makes contact with representatives of Arsenal defensive stud
The current Serie A champs lost Dani Alves to ambitious Paris Saint-Germain last summer. Despite landing versatile full-back Mattia De Sciglio from AC Milan, Juve are yet to bring in a proper replacement.
It’s been reported elsewhere that executives from “The Old Lady” have been keeping tabs on the Spanish international for some time now. The club has gone through a major overhaul of their defense in the past year. In addition to the aforementioned Dani Alves, the club said goodbye to longtime defender Leonardo Bonucci – a deal which brought De Sciglio in.
Without the famous “BBC”, Juve’s defense has been unsteady in the early going this season. But it’s too early to gauge whether a deal can be done, with the ace a key man at the Emirates.
