Juventus are known to be admirers of Arsenal goalkeeper Szczesny and several reports in Italy claim the Old Lady has already reached an agreement with the former AS Roma star.

The Poland International will see his Arsenal contract expire in 2018 and Juventus’ have identified him as a possible long-time replacement for Gigi Buffon who is set to retire at the end of next season.



​Szczesny had two positive campaigns in Italy but Arsenal will still use Petr Cech as their first-choice goalkeeper next season.

​According to Il Corriere della Sera, the Gunners have rejected Juventus’ € 4.5 million opening bid as the offer of the Serie A giants is not even close to the Gunners’ asking price.

​Arsenal have demanded € 22 million to sell the Poland star but Juventus’ are not open to match the Gunners’ asking price given that Szczesny’s contract expires at the end of next season.
