Sami Khedira isn't impressed by his former club, Real Madrid.

The 2014 World Cup Champion revisited his time in Madrid during an interview, and had some interesting things to say about how the Merengues tend to leave many talented players on the bench.

"By my last year in Real, I'd stopped deriving any pleasure from playing football," Khedira told Kicker magazine.

"I started prioritizing football only when I moved to Turin, because in life there are many positives but football is everything."

"I'm back to enjoying things as I used to, I feel in shape and play with more confidence.

"I'm happy I made this move".
