Juventus star gets injured while on International duty

Juventus star Daniele Rugani has picked up an injury while training with Italy national team. The talented centre-back has been diagnosed with a dislocation of the index finger of his right hand and Italy boss Ventura could decide to drop him for the incoming azzurri clash against Macedonia.

After the departure of Leonardo Bonucci, Rugani has been promoted among the bianconeri regular starters although Max Allegri did bench him for the last two games of the bianconeri.

The 23-year-old has five appearances in Serie A so far this season. He has yet to make his Champions League debut in the 2017/18 campaign as Max Allegri did bench him both against Barcelona and against Olympiacos earlier last week.

Rugani was chased by both Arsenal and Napoli in the summer but Juventus refused to sell him as Leonardo Bonucci had already left the team.

Max Allegri believes that this will be ‘Rugani’s year’ and the Old Lady’s tactician hopes the injury of the 23-year-old will still allow him to be eligible to play against Lazio next week.
