Lazio in advanced talks over Chelsea starlet
The Croatian midfielder spent the last season on loan at AC Milan but Antonio Conte has no long term plans for him at the Stamford Bridge and Lazio are reported to be close to signing the 22-year-old.
Lazio have made a loan offer with option to buy. The Serie A side can sign Pasalic on a € 1-million loan deal plus an option to buy worth € 10 million.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport Lazio are close to signing the 22-year-old given that Chelsea are willing to sell. An agreement may be reached in the coming hours.
If Pasalic completes his move to Lazio, he will join Liverpool midfielder Lucas Leiva who is set to leave Anfield Road to also join the Olimpico hierarchy.
The Brazilian midfielder will have his medical with the biancocelesti tomorrow.
