AC Milan legend Pippo Inzaghi talked to assembled media on Monday afternoon to comment the result of the Milan derby but also to share his thoughts on his brother Simone who is leading Lazio towards another amazing Serie A campaign.

Simone managed to finish 6ht with Lazio last season and sits now third in the Serie A table with the biancocelesti who beat Juventus at the Allianz Stadium this past week-end.

“He [Simone] is doing something extraordinary. He deserves the praise, he is one of the best managers in Europe right now. He is a very smart guy and he must enjoy this moment. I am happy about the results he is getting. There are lot of criticisms around young managers in Italy but he is proving how much he’s worth.”

As for the Milan derby, Inzaghi said: “Icardi is a great striker but AC Milan can also rely on some great forwards.”
