Liverpool: Arsenal man keen to wear red, Klopp blocks Sturridge exit

Liverpool are known to be long time admirers of Arsenal winger Oxlade-Chamberlian and reports in England claim the talented winger is not willing to extend his expiring contract with Arsenal as he’s keen to move to Anfield Road as a free agent next summer.

It is understood that Chamberlain wants to get more game time, but his move to Anfield Road would not necessarily guarantee him a starter spot.

Liverpool have recently made an enquiry to sign him but Arsenal replied that the player is not available.

The Gunners will try to offer Chamberlain a new deal but their position regarding the player’s availability could change if Oxlade fails to sign a new deal. Arsenal could then decide to sell him in order not to see him walk out of the club as a free agent in 12 months.

Meantime, Jurgen Klopp seems not willing to sell Daniel Sturridge anymore. The Englishman wants more game time and he is reported to be a target of Psg and Wet Ham but the German boss does not want to sell him as it would be too expensive for the Reds to sign a replacement for the England star. Sturridge did only manage three Premier League goals with the Reds last season.
