Liverpool chief remains coy over move for Aubameyang

Gabon international striker Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang is one of the hottest names on the transfer market this summer. The 28-year-old has announced that he will be leaving Borussia Dortmund and the race is now on to grab his signature.

Paris Saint-Germain and AC Milan have both been linked with a move but so have Premier League giants Liverpool. Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants to challenge for domestic honours next term and after completing the signing of Mohamed Salah from Roma on Thursday, the German tactician has thrown his hat into the ring for his former charge.

However, the Merseyside club have remained coy about any move and when asked about this, CEO Peter Moore (quoted by The Express) was giving nothing away when he joked that; “"If Aubameyang is available for £63million as reported (and would come) please get him! You could recoup most of the money in shirts". All the profits would disappear with the cost of lettering the shirts…”
