Liverpool ready to launch 100 million bid for Mbappe

According to The Express, Liverpool are ready to spend £100M to bring French striking sensation Kylian Mbappe to Anfield this summer. The journal claims that the Merseyside club’s interest in the 18-year-old is genuine and that boss Jurgen Klopp wants to make it known to the club from the principality that they are ready to do business should the player himself be open to a move to the Premier League.

Mbappe has become one of the biggest names on the transfer market with Real Madrid reportedly still in pole-position to grab his signature. Arsenal have also been linked but it’s believed that the Gunners will not break the world record transfer fee to bring him to The Emirates.

Noises coming out of Anfield last week suggested that Liverpool had made tentative enquiries for the French international, who still has two years left on his current contract, and after the capture of Egyptian forward Mohamed Salah on Thursday, Klopp wants to continue his summer rebuild by trying to claim this year’s hottest name.
