Liverpool, Roma, Spurs target has no deal with Las Palmas, says agent

It appears that recent reports of Jese Rodriguez moving to Las Palmas may have been overblown.

Speaking to a local TV station, one of his representatives said that news of an understanding with the Liga side were “false”.

“Talk of an agreement to join UD Las Palmas and earn a lower salary is all false,” Armando Ufarte told Canarias 7 (h/t Le10Sport), “We haven't discussed these things".

Having flopped after making only one Ligue 1 start, it appeared that the 23-year-old was favouring Las Palmas over AS Roma, who are very interested.

“Jese is under contract with a club and here there is no negotiation until we hear something new”, Ufarte continued.

“Yes, he’s attracted by the idea of playing for UD. It's his home town, it has a great coach, one of the best in Spain, and players who produced spectacular football”.

“But all we've done is declared intent. There has been nothing but speculation.

“Despite his recent difficulties, he has suitors from various countries. But we need to know what PSG’s position is, first”.

Liverpool, Milan and Spurs are also interested, Las Palmas’ president confirming that he could be sold for €25 million.
