Man Utd handed massive boost in their quest for James Rodriguez

Manchester United’s quest to try to land Colombian ace James Rodriguez looks to have received a huge boost after the player reportedly rejected a move to AC Milan. Stories emerged on Tuesday that the 25-year-old Real Madrid man was close to a move to Italy and that Los Blancos had accepted a €60M offer from the Rossoneri. According to Don Balon this morning, James himself has rejected that offer stating that he wants to go to Old Trafford this summer.

Having struggled to hold down a regular starting berth in the Spanish capital last season, the exit door is getting closer and with Paris Saint-Germain and Inter Milan both now understood to be no longer interested in him, his options look to be decreasing.
Real President Florentino Perez as agreed to his sale and the portal claims that United still remain in pole-position to sign his ahead of the new campaign although the Red Devils have not submitted an official offer at this time.
