Man Utd news: Mourinho watches Real Madrid ace, Juve challenge for Psg defender

No secret José Mourinho wants to add some reinforcement to his Man Utd squad in the January transfer window. The Portuguese tactician wanted the Red Devils to sign four new players this past summer but ‘only’ three new players eventually joined the Old Trafford.

Mourinho is now keen to sign a new defender or a new midfielder in the winter transfer window and according to Diario Gol in Spain Real Madrid ace Casemiro is a possible midfield reinforcement for the Premier League giants.

The Brazilian is contracted with Real Madrid until 2021 but Manchester United are not the only club interested in signing him.

According to the Spanish news outlet, in fact, Psg are also interested in signing the former Porto ace who, however, wants Real Madrid stay and may begin new contract talks soon asking for a higher salary given that some top European clubs are chasing him.

Meantime, José Mourinho is also looking at possible defence reinforcements and Thomas Meunier has emerged as a transfer target of the Special One.

Juventus, however, have also set sights on the Belgian having scouted him during the last International break.

Calciomercato.com, however, has exclusively learned Juve are only open to sign Meunier on loan with option to buy whilst reports in England claim Manchester United are willing to offer more than € 30 million to sign him in the January window.
