Manchester City confirmed the signing of Monaco starlet Bernardo Silva last week and according to reports in France, Pep Guardiola’s side are close to signing another emerging star contracted with the Ligue1 champions.

According to sfr.fr, the Citizens have opened transfer talks over the signing of promising left-back Benjamin Mendy, who is also a transfer target of Juventus and Inter.

The Old Lady asked information about the promising France defender during her last Champions League meetings against Monaco, calciomercato.com reported last week.
Inter are also reported to be keeping tabs on the 22-year-old who has one goal and 11 assists this season.

​Reports in France, claim Manchester City have not only begun transfer talks but are also close to reaching an economic agreement with Monaco so much so the two parties could finalize a deal next week.

Manchester City completed the £ 60 million signing of Bernardo Silva last week, and Mendy could be the next Monaco player to join the Etihad Stadium. Bernardo Silva had also been scouted by Juvenus before his big-money Manchester City move.
