Manchester United and West Ham in for England number one

Joe Hart is looking for an escape route from Manchester City via east-London side West Ham, with Manchester United also interested in his services, reports Football London.

The England goalkeeper reportedly does not have a future at the Etihad, as Man City brought in Ederson for £35m from Benfica earlier this month.

Last season, Hart was sent out in a shock loan move to Serie A side Torino but his time at the Italian club was a mixed spell and has now left Hart without job security for next season.

The Hammers are in the hunt for Hart, with another season long loan allegedly on the table – but the 30-year-old would have to take a large pay-cut; the Shrewsbury-born ‘keeper is currently on £175,000 a week at Man City but could face that figure being sliced to £75,000 if the Hammers were to nab him.

Man United are also reportedly in for the shot-stopper, should they lose Spaniard David De Gea to Real Madrid.
