Manchester United: De Gea latest - Real Madrid chief remains coy about summer move

The saga surrounding the future of Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea continues. The Spanish number one has been the subject of huge transfer speculation over a possible move to Real Madrid but Los Blancos patron Florentino Perez continues to remain coy over whether a deal will be done.

The 26-year-old still has two-years left on his current contract at Old Trafford and recent reports suggested that he wanted to remain at the club despite the chance to return to his home city; Perez meanwhile, has been speaking to Atresmedia and when asked to give his version of events, he replied; “I don't know where he will play next season because I'm not a fortune teller."

A failed attempt by Real Madrid in 2015 to sign the custodian left a bitter taste in the mouth between the clubs and The Mirror understands that De Gea has no intention of trying to instigate a move away from Old Trafford this summer as the Red Devils get ready to offer him a new £200,000-a-week deal.
