Manchester United refuse to raise their offer for Perisic

Inter Milan need €30M by the end of June to balance their books in conjunction with Financial Fair-Play and the player whose sale looked to be the one that would solve this problem was Croatian midfielder Ivan Perisic.

Manchester United are huge admirers and previous reports have stated that the Red Devils have already tabled a bid for the aforementioned sum. Despite this, Inter are holding out for the €50M they believe the 28-year-old is worth but Calciomercato.com understands that the Premier League giants are not prepared to raise their offer.

United boss Jose Mourinho is searching for a wide-man and Perisisc has been identified as the player to fit that role. His performances for the Nerazzurri last season were one of the bright spots in an otherwise disappointing campaign but the player’s desire to return to playing Champions League football looks to have hastened his departure from the San Siro.

Despite this current stand-off, Calciomercato.com understands that United are confident they will finally get their man for their original €30M proposal.
