Manchester United’s quest for Inter midfielder Ivan Perisic could hinge on whether the Red Devils are prepared to sacrifice French striker Anthony Martial.
 

Reports from Italy this morning state that the Nerazzurri would be willing to part with their 28-year-old Croatian star if United will send Martial in the opposite direction. The 21-year-old French international has stared pre-season in explosive form for the club after heavy criticism last term from boss Jose Mourinho who claimed he had to produce more consistent performances.

Perisic is desperate to secure his move to Old Trafford but the two clubs cannot agree on a definitive transfer figure. United are only prepared to pay around £40M for the player with Inter holding firm for £45M. The journal claims that the Italian’s ant to take Martial on an initial loan-deal with a view to securing a permanent deal in the summer of 2018.
