Milan close to signing Lasagna, Bacca to talk to West Ham today
The Diavolo is looking for a defender (Mateo Musacchio of Villareal), a midfielder (Piotr Zielinski of Empoli, though Sampdoria's Fernando has yet to agree to his move to Spartak) and a striker... Kevin Lasagna of Carpi.
The Gazzetta dello Sport is claiming that Milan are very close to signing the 23-year-old striker, and are set to meet agent Massimo Briaschi today to agree to a €6.5 million move.
Ironically, Lasagna is a childhood Inter fan... who scored against the club of his dreams at the San Siro this season. Oh, and it was pretty much the last kick of the game, which sealed a draw. You couldn't make it up.
Colombian striker Carlos Bacca is also set to meet West Ham today to agree to his eventual salary, AC Milan having agreed to sell him to the Hammers for €30 million.
