Milan winger Honda skips France tour, but says he is recovering

Keisuke Honda is set to miss AC Milan's upcoming trip to France.

Instead of departing with the team, the Japanese international remained at Milanello, undergoing a personal exercise routine to recover from a recent injury he sustained on international duty.

The former CSKA star has announced some positive news, however, stating on his instagram page that he would be available for the Diavolo's upcoming tour of the United States.

"My leg - which I injured with the national team last month - now feels good. I'm almost ready to join the team".

Honda quietly earned a spot on Milan's left wing last season, shining opposite Giacomo Bonaventura.
