Morata wants compatriot to snub Real Madrid in favour of Chelsea move

Chelsea can rely on one of the best goalkeepers in the world at the moment as Thibaut Courtois is regarded as one of the best player in his position at the moment. Trouble is, transfer speculations are always very much active when it comes to talking about the future of the Belgium International and Don Balon claims Chelsea executives already now Courtois is not willing to spend his whole career in the Premier League.

The Spanish news outlet claims Chelsea are looking to signing the Belgian’s replacement and that the Blues star Alvaro Morata has already suggested representatives of the club who to sign.

The former Juventus star does reportedly want Chelsea to sign Athletic Bilbao star Kepa who is also being linked with a move to Real Madrid.

According to Don Balon, however, Kepa may reject a move to the Bernabeu in order not to be ‘treated as a traitor’ by fans and Spanish media.

His contract with Athletic expires at the end of the season and the promising keeper is not likely to pen a new deal with his current club.

Morata wants him to join Chelsea, will he manage to persuade his compatriot to snub a move to the Bernabeu and join the Stamford Bridge hierarchy?
