Napoli-Juventus attendance expected to quintuple Champions League match

After their public embarrassment of selling only 15,000 tickets for Tuesday’s Champions League victory over Shakhtar Donetsk, Napoli is set to play in front of a sold out San Paolo against Juventus on December 1st.

The club was the butt of many jokes this past week when they could only muster 10,500 fans to see them destroy Shakhtar and keep their Champions League hopes alive.

According to the club, they sold 26,000 tickets the day Napoli-Juventus became available to purchase. It’s no surprise, considering the San Paolo has not averaged below 52,000 fans for their last 10 matches together.
