PAPER TALK: Milan-Fabregas, its possible; Lamela also linked with the rossoneri

Milan are stepping up their chase for Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas. Club representatives were at Stamford Bridge on Saturday to watch the Blues beat Leicester City and initial contact has now been made over the 29-year-old Spaniard.

La Gazzetta dello Sport believes that a January move to the San Siro is now a distinct possibility but that the Premier League side may use the potential sale to get their hands on highly-rated central defender Alessio Romagnoli. The pink journal echoes reports circulating in the UK that the West London club have already agreed to meet Milan’s asking price of €55 million for the 21-year-old.
