PAPER TALK: Inter tempt Chelsea with Kondogbia; Honda to choose Shanghai over Premier League; Ivanovic too old for Juve

According to Turin based sports daily Tuttosport, Inter are trying to off-load French midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia to Chelsea to make way for Lazio’s Argentinean international Lucas Biglia. New nerazzurri boss Stefano Pioli wants to bring his former skipper to join him at the San Siro in January as he starts to rebuild the team into his style.

23-year-old Kondogbia has failed to impress since he arrived from Monaco in a big money move in the summer of 2015. Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is an admirer however, but the reported €20 million asking price is proving to be a major stumbling block. Because of financial fair-play restrictions placed on the club, Inter must first sell before they can buy and Kondogbia, along with Brazilian Felipe Melo are believed to be the two players who are surplus to requirement.
