Paper talk: AC Milan retire from Biglia race, Juve desperate to keep Chelsea-bound star

New week and new transfer rumours around Europe with Italy that will be the starting point and the final destination of many top players. One of them is Alex Sandro who has agreed personal terms with Chelsea and is pushing to leave Juventus. Our excusive news was confirmed by several papers, including Il Corriere dello Sport, although the Italian paper claims Juventus will make one desperate attempt to keep the Brazilian at the Allianz Stadium.

Marotta and Paratici will offer Alex Sandro a new € 5-million-a-year deal, which is still less than Chelsea’s € 7-million-a-year offer which the former Porto star has already agreed.

Il Corriere dello Sport also confirms Chelsea will make an improbe bid for Alex Sandro with the Blues who are set to offer € 70 million to secure the player’s services. Juventus hope they can still manage to keep Alex Sandro but they may have to face reality accepting to sell their top class fullback.

​Meantime, AC Milan seem to have retired from the race to sign Lucas Biglia. The Argentinean has one year left in his contract with Lazio but the biancocelesti president Claudio Lotito is not going to sell him for less than € 20 million as he still hopes that his top class regista  will sign a contract extension with the club.

​According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan are not open to offer as much as € 20 million as they are hoping to seal the transfer of Andrea Conti for a similar fee (€ 25 million). The Atalanta starlet would become AC Milan’s fifth summer signing but at the moment there are no chances to see Biglia wear the rossoneri shirt next season.
