Paper Talk: Juve scout four Porto stars, Milan chasing Montolivo’s replacement

Juventus scouts had no rest during the International break as the club’s director of sport Fabio Paratici sent them everywhere in Europe to monitor the best prospects of the Old Continent while on duty with their national teams.

Paratici has received some very positive reports on Porto striker Andre Silva who scored a hat trick for Portugal national team in the World Cup qualifiers.

Andre Silva is not the only Porto star that Juventus are interested in signing. Hector Herrera is also know to be a long-time target of the Serie A giants and also Ruben Neves has been linked with a move to the J Stadium many times.

According to Tuttosport, 21-year-old midfielder Otavio is the last name added on the agenda of Paratici who, however, knows that signing players from Porto is never easy and is always very expensive, but after the Alex Sandro deal, the Old Lady want to make new business with the Portuguese side.

Meantime, AC Milan will be looking for a long-time replacement for injured Riccardo Montolivo.

According to Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport, the priority target is Chelsea ace Cesc Fabregas, but the player must be persuaded to complete a move he rejected last summer.

Fiorentina wantaway star Milan Badelj is the first alternative to Fabregas. The Croat’s contract runs until 2018 and Fiorentina do not have many chances to monetize his sale, especially considering that the player’s agent has already revealed that his client is not going to extend his stay at Fiorentina.

AS Roma playmaker Leandro Paredes could be one last option for midfield reinforcement, given that the former Empoli star is not getting enough game time under Luciano Spalletti.

Being looking for an experienced player to replace Montolivo, however, Paredes would only join Milan if also Badelj moves to the San Siro.
