Paper talk: Man Utd target set for Inter extension, Juve bid for Real Madrid defender
Manchester United’s opening € 40 million bid has already been rejected by the nerazzurri and according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Perisic is now negotiating a contract extension with his current club.
If Manchester United fail to match Inter’s € 50 million asking price by the end of June, the player could eventually stay at Inter signing a contract extension until 2022. From July the player will be only allowed to leave if Inter receive an offer exceeding € 50 million.
Meantime, Juventus are thinking of a possible replacement for Dani Alves. The Brazilian is set to leave the Allianz Stadium to join Manchester City and the Serie A giants have made Danilo their summer transfer priority.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Juventus have offered € 15 million to sign the Brazilian right-back who, however, has a € 20 million price-tag. The gap between offer and demand is not as big and the Old Lady will push to finalize Danilo’s purchase in the next few weeks. As of today, Danilo is Juventus’ priority in terms of defensive reinforcement ahead of Man Utd’s Matteo Darmian.
