Paulo Sousa gets ready for AC Milan job ?

In Portugal they seem pretty sure, Paulo Sousa is close to AC Milan. According to FantaGazzetta (via Corriere dello Sport and Portuguese news outlets), it would seem like the ex-Viola coach might be a leading candidate to replace Montella.

Vincenzo Montella's Milan have been very poor of late as they lost to Sampdoria, Roma and Inter before earning a point earlier today at the San Siro against Genoa. They are also coming off a disappointing 0-0 draw against AEK Athens in the Europa league as well. Going back to Corriere dello Sport's report, it seems like Sousa is getting very close to Milan. Why? Well it seems like Sousa broke off a contract that he had already recently signed with Fox as he was contacted by AC Milan. As Montella's future remains in heavy doubt, Sousa seems ready to accept the challenge...

AC Milan are currently in 11th position in the Serie A tables as this start to the season hasn't been good enough after spending over 200 million euros during the summer.
