PSG close to agreeing €20m fee for Man Utd target

Juventus are close to agreeing a deal for Blaise Matuidi, according to the latest reports coming from Italy.

Last night, journalist Ciro Venerato told famous Italian show La Domenica Sportiva that the Manchester United target was close to moving to Turin for 20 million.

Matuidi has long been pursued by a number of clubs, and is known for his hard-tackling, dynamic play.

Linked to a move to the Premier League, the 30-year-old nearly joined Juventus last summer, only for PSG to stonewall the move, still angry at how they pinched Kingsley Coman from PSG’s academy, at a time when he had yet to sign a professional deal with the French giants.

PSG had previously insisted on a price in the range of 25-30m, which Juve believed to be too much for someone who has already turned 30.

Agent Mino Raiola looks to have swung things, recently meeting with the Parisians to force the deal through.
