PSG make their opening offer for Cristiano Ronaldo

French sports daily L’Equipe reports that Paris Saint-Germain will today present their first offer to Real Madrid for Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo. With the 32-year-old’s future still uncertain after reports last week claimed he had notified Los Blancos of his intention to leave this summer, comes the news this morning that the French giants have thrown their hat into the ring.

Apparently unhappy at Real’s lack of support over tax evasion charges, Ronaldo has been heavily linked to a sensational return to Manchester United but reports in the past 24 hours have hinted that Jose Mourinho is not keen to have him back at Old Trafford. Apart from United, PSG are probably the only club who could seriously afford to grab the signature of the world’s most famous player and L’Equipe states that an offer somewhere in the region of €150M could be on the table.
