Real Madrid: Zidane tells Mbappe he'll sacrifice Ronaldo, Bale or Benzema to bring him to Spain

The race for French striking sensation Kylian Mbappe continues; with Paris Saint-Germain and Arsenal still hot on the heels of the 18-year-old, Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane has reportedly made a stunning declaration to the youngster to convince him to head to the Santiago Bernabeu this summer.

French sports daily L’Equipe claims that the French tactician has spoken in person to his fellow countryman and has told him he is prepared to sacrifice one of his big three strikers to accommodate him next season. Mbappe is reportedly concerned that a move to the Spanish capital will see him spending too much time on the bench but Zidane has assured him that Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale or Karim Benzema will be sold if he agrees to a move.

Despite Ronaldo’s threat to quit the club, it’s 29-year-old Benzema who would be the most likely to depart and it could be that in a bizarre twist of fate, Mbappe’s international team-mate would make a move to Arsenal who have been trying to bring him to the Premier League for several season’s now.

Welshman Bale is under contract until 2022 and the player has been linked with a move to Manchester United with President Florentino Perez reportedly frustrated at the amount of time he’s spending on the treatment table.
