    Higuain doesn't renew with Napoli: United behind?

    As reported by the British press, Jose Mourinho has met Nicolas Higuain, father and agent of Napoli striker Gonzalo Higuain. It seems that the two have talked about a possible transfer of the 29-year-old to Manchester United. The player would earn about €10 million per season, while Napoli would earn over €100 million, even though his release clause amounts to @94 million.
     
    For sure, the Argentina international has many suitors: Arsenal, Chelsea –whose future manager Antonio Conte admires him- and Paris Saint-Germain, who are seeking the heir of Zlatan Ibrahimović. Moreover, if Lewandowski would leave, Bayern Munich could be interested in the former Real Madrid man too.
     
    On the other hand, the azzurri’s president Aurelio De Laurentiis has no intention to let his best player leave, and has offered him a new contract. For the moment, Higuain and his agent have not accepted to negotiate: is the Special One between such refusal?
