    REPORT: Napoli keen on Rugani

    As previously reported, Juventus center back Daniele Rugani is not getting any chances to play in Massimiliano Allegri’s squad. The 21-year-old has been signed by the bianconeri 10 months ago, but joined them only last summer, as he remained on loan at Empoli during the second part of the last season.

    For this reason, Napoli new boss Maurizio Sarri knows Rugani very well, and has asked his club to make an attempt for his former player during the last transfer window.

    As reported this morning by the Corriere dello Sport, in January the Campania’s club president Aurelio De Laurentiis will try again to accomplish his team’s head coach.

    The azzurri have already contacted the Piedmont’s club, but this latter has ignored them; Napoli will need to make an important offer to make the Serie A defending champions think.

    The main alternative to the Italy Under 21 international is Torino 23-year-old Nikola Maksimovic.
