Revealed: AC Milan have had contacts with Sousa as he is in pole position if Montella is to be sacked
Milan played against Juventus a few hours ago at the San Siro as the rossoneri failed to win yet another game since they lost by a 2-0 score line (thanks to two Higuain goals). Milan have now lost 4 out of their last 6 games (versus Sampdoria, Roma, Inter and Juventus) as their only win during this span was against Chievo Verona. Montella's Milan are struggling a lot as the pressure keeps growing on the young Italian coach. His team are clearly lacking the "winning instinct" as they have proven to be behind clubs like Napoli, Juve, Inter and Roma.
SOUSA IS AN OPTION - If Montella is eventually let go, who is the favorite to replace him? According to Calciomercato.com sources, there have been initial contacts between Milan and Paulo Sousa as he would be the leading candidate to take over at Milan. Even so, the rossoneri club still haven't made up their mind on Montella's faith as they will seemingly move on with him for the time being....
