Revealed: Mourinho scouted Pogba’s possible replacement

Paul Pogba will probably skip a few months of action with a severe muscular injury and according to reports in England José Mourinho is looking for a reliable replacement of the French star.

Marouane Fellaini has also picked up an injury and could remain out of action for two months at last and with four competitions to be played José Mourinho needs to add depth and quality to his Man Utd side.

The Mirror claims José Mourinho was in Austria on Friday night to watch the World Cup Qualifier clash between Austria and Serbia.

Many footballers are being linked with a move to the Old Trafford, including the Serbian Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic Savic who, however, is not being included in the Serbian senior team yet.

The Special One is reported to have scouted Mijat Gacinovic, 22, who is contracted with E.Frankfurt until 2021.

Gacinovic is a versatile central midfielder who can also play as attacking winger. The Serbian star has played four Bundesliga games in the middle of the park so far this season and only two as a winger.

Mourinho believes he could be a possible replacement of Pogba and Manchester United may make an attempt to sign him in the January transfer window.
