Kostas Manolas' future is in doubt as the player was close to leaving Di Francesco's club a few weeks ago. It doesn't seem like the Greek defender has any intentions of renewing his deal with Roma as he was on the verge of being sold to Zenit. In the end, a last second change of heart by Manolas (who wasn't very convinced of playing in Russia) made the move collapse. His contract is set to expire in 2019 as Juve might now try to get him since they lost their best defender (Leonardo Bonucci) to Milan. According to Tuttosport (via FootballItalia), Roma value Manolas at 35 million euros (which is the number that was agreed with Zenit a few weeks ago). It now remains to be seen what will happen in his case but as time goes by, his future is still in doubt.
Manolas appeared in 52 games on the season (with Roma and the Greek national team) as he picked up two assists.
