A double helping of good news for AS Roma fans. The club's struggles up front are compounded by the fact that former disappointment Seydou Doumbia is still on the club's books. 

But the worm looks like it's turning for the Lupa: the current CSKA loanee is undergoing a medical at Newcastle, and is set to sign imminently, according to Sky Sport Italia. Problem is, it's only a loan till the end of the season, and the buyback is't compulsory. 

Things are looking better on the Diego Perotti front. El Monito is the No. 1 choice in case someone leaves. The Lupa is still in pole position for the winger's services, having already found an agreement worth 12 million to loan the Argentine to Roma, with a buy-back clause. 

Roma and Genoa will talk again once the latter have played against Fiorentina. Milan are trailing more and more.
