Roma: Injured forward already wants to join Man Utd, Barca

After playing only 15 minutes for AS Roma this year, injured forward Patrik Schick is already thinking about his future destinations. In an interview this week Schick spoke about his hopes of moving to a “better club” in the future.

“I hope to be able to transfer in a few years to an even better club, where I will be paid even better,” said the forward to his native Czech magazine Reporter. He went on to list destinations he hopes to land one day, “there are a few clubs, such as Real Madrid, Barcelona or Manchester United.”

Currently on loan from Sampdoria, the imposing forward has been limited to only 15 minutes of playing time due to numerous injuries since his arrival in the Italian capital. Fortunately for him, Schick seems to enjoy the training facilities at Trigoria, where he’s spent the majority of his time with the Giallorossi.

“When I saw the training center, I realized that I’d be getting the best here.” He went on about the Roma facilities, “here there are perfect pitches, the best systems for recovering, the gym, plus the nutritionists.”

I’m sure Monchi and legions of Roma fans are thrilled to hear he’s enjoying his time in the Roma recovery room, as he’s on the verge of becoming the most expensive transaction in club history.
