Exclusive: The Emenalo departure gives more power to Conte, the latest

After a difficult start to this past season, Michael Emenalo has decided to leave the club. The now ex-Chelsea sporting director had been there for about 10 years as he was Abramovich's go to guy in many situations. Other than Abramovich, Marina Granovskaia and also Antonio Conte sent him messages to thank him for his time at the club. Here is what Conte said: "I am very sad about this news since Michael helped me a lot. I wish him all the best".

WATCH OUT FOR MILAN - In the past few hours, it has been reported that Milan made a contact with Antonio Conte as they tried to see if they could get him right away. This is not possible at the moment but Milan's main goal is to secure his services for the 2018-2019 season. With Emenalo leaving the club, Conte's position now seems more secure as the Italian boss often criticized Chelsea's transfer market. He was also able to beat Manchester United this past week-end. Was it just by chance that Emenalo left the club a day after this huge Chelsea win? No, since Chelsea wanted to pass a strong message: Antonio Conte is a crucial piece of the puzzle and he is untouchable at the moment.
