Serie A news: Lorenzo Insigne edging closer to Ronaldinho’s record
The Napoli-born striker has scored 11 goals and registered 10 assist in league games which means he’s edging closer to Ronaldinho’s 12 goals and 14 assists record registered in the 2009-10 campaign when the former Brazil International was playing for AC Milan.
Insigne, who scored the opener in Italy’s 1-1 draw against Spain on Thursday, is also the favorite to finish the Serie A campaign as the best assist-man of the league.
Miralem Pjanic, Paulo Dybala, Paul Pogba and Riccardo Saponara are the only ones who could threaten the Napoli ace in terms of assists supplied.
