Serie A relegation candidates Crotone linked with shock move for Liverpool flop

Crotone will be battling out to survive the next Serie A campaign again after that they incredibly managed to avoid relegation last season. The ‘Sharks’ had an amazing girone di ritorno and eventually to survive in their first Serie A season ever.

The Serbian winger had a stunning 2013/14 campaign at Benfica but failed to justify his € 25 million price-tag when he moved to Liverpool the following summer.

The Reds have been trying to help Markovic to recover his best form selling him on loan at Fenerbache, Sporting CP and Hull City but the 23-year-old has never managed to get back on track showing the same potential he had in Portugal.

Crotone can’t afford to sign Markovic on loan and will try to take him on a season loan deal, according to reports in Italy.
