Soccer player switches to American football, kicks game winner

Former MLS goalkeeper Josh Lambo is making the most of his time in his new sport. On Sunday, the football player-turned-football player kicked the winning field goal for his NFL team, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Lambo originally was a professional soccer player for FC Dallas, though he never played a match for the club. After three seasons of languishing on the sidelines, Lambo decided to make a switch in 2011. He became an American Football kicker.

Though goalkeepers don’t get the opportunity to celebrate goals often, Lambo celebrated his game-winning kick with the enthusiasm of some of the great strikers in the world. Take a look:
