PSG are confident that Roma, Arsenal and Liverpool target Adrien Rabiot wants to remain for a ”long time”.

The 22-year-old midfielder has been a mainstay this season, but has been linked to departures before, revealing in October that he would “love” to play in the Premier League, and that he grew up supporting Liverpool.

The young midfielder has been a star this season in Paris, however, playing 17 games under Unai Emery, the sign that he is trusted implicitly alongside the likes of Thiago Motta and Marco Verratti.

Yet a source inside the club says that the box-to-box midfielder wants to stay.

“The door is open, and discussions will begin when Adrien and his advisor will want to,” the unidentified source told Le Parisien.

“There is no reason to be worried. We know what Adrien wants, and that is to stay with PSG for a long time.”

PSG need to sell to settle an €80 million bill with UEFA’s Financial Fair Play, however, fuelling speculation that they may forced to make some difficult decisions come January.
