Spalletti reveals Inter transfer strategies, says Champions League is the ‘minimum target’

Inter boss Luciano Spalletti has released an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport to share his thoughts on this new chapter of his career.

“I will try to share my excitement with my players. There are great players here but they don’t think as a team, the collective doesn’t work and that has to change. They must be proud to play for Inter, they must be proud to wear the shirt. They must think as a team, not as single players. They must respect the history of this club.”

“I feel some responsibilities of course. I know how much the fans love their club and we want to make them proud. I want to talk to some of these players before making new signings but we will sign two defenders for sure.”

“Borja Valero can either play as regista or attacking midfielder. He’s a true leader and we need players like him. The Champions League will be our minimum target, I want to look at my players ant the eyes and try to understand how they react to solicitations.”
