Spurs 'agree personal terms' with Ligue 1 starlet

Tottenham Hotspur have ‘agreed personal terms’ with Ligue 1 side Nice to bring in 20-year-old Vincent Marcel to the north-London club.
Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino is looking to flesh out his side after the Lilywhites marked an impressive Premier League campaign last season with a second-place finish.

A lot of the talent stemming from Spurs has been players – like Harry Kane and Dele Alli - that have been brought through the ranks as youngsters. Whereas English clubs seem desperate to buy big names for big prices, this mode of business hasn’t always worked out for Tottenham.

Marcel is a midfielder who operates predominantly on the right-hand side of the pitch, but can also be utilised centrally.

Though he has not received much game time in France, with only ten appearances under his belt from last season, he is still an exciting prospect.
Reports have now emerged from French publication Foot Mercato via Talk Sport that he has ‘provisionally’ agreed to sign on with the most youthful side in the Premier League.
